140630 Hyomin makes her solo debut with 15+ MV and 19+ dance version MV for “Nice Body” + making film

On Sunday, June 29th (June 30th, KST), Hyomin finally made her solo debut with two MVs for her title track “Nice Body” featuring LOCO.

The 15+ MV contains individual shots of both artists, as well as the transformation and brand new life Hyomin undergoes in her dream after a golden doughnut rolls her way. Meanwhile, the 19+ MV is just a dance version for now, highlighting the sexy and flirty choreography.

Having been uploaded via Facebook and ktmusic’s Official YouTube channel, title track “Nice Body” is said to have been a compilation of both Hyomin’s and Brave Brothers’ compositions. Incorporating T-ara’s familiar groovy, pop disco sound, the slower tempo adds a touch of hip-hop to the upbeat song. In addition, rapper LOCO’s contribution to the song has added extra color to the song and music video.

The following two tracks in her mini-album “Make Up” were composed by Hyomin herself.

“Fake” is a feminine, softer track that includes more of Hyomin’s vocals, as well as another rapper’s low voice that mixes well. On the other hand, “Overcome” involves more of Hyomin’s rap lines reminiscent of T-ara’s debut song “Lies.” Yet, a range of low and high vocals and a sad, subtly bold beat make this song an attractive listen as well.

Moreover, one of T-ara’s bigger international fansites – T-ara World Fansite – has uploaded a making film of Hyomin’s MV via Twitter. Showing concise scenes of Hyomin applying makeup and playing various roles throughout the music video are shown, though it may come as a surprise to some that Hyomin had also played the initial character in the beginning who was seen eating donuts. With some face sculpting mask, makeup, and puffy clothes, she has gone far in order to truly express the concept of a physical transformation.

In the music video, Hyomin shows confidence and satisfaction with her brand new body that she has in her dream. Upon finally waking up, her brief sorrow turns into renewed dedication as she exercises during the MV’s close. With summer already wrapping up its first month, perhaps Hyomin is encouraging those who wish to exercise to take a step closer to their desired body during beach season.

140630 T-ara’s Hyomin Says the Difference Between Her Debut and Jiyeon’s Is “Cute Sexy vs. Mature Sexy”

T-ara’s Hyomin, who recently made her solo debut with “Nice Body,” held a press conference on June 30, where she named the difference between her and fellow T-ara member Jiyeon’s solo ventures as “cute vs. mature.”

She said, “We talked about that [our contrasting points] a lot too. First, at the base of it all, both of our concepts are sexy. We are female artists, and in terms of Jiyeon, because she is the youngest of our group, she really tried to portray a mature image on stage.”

“For me, I went for a healthy, bright, and cute sort of sexy. It may not have come off as much through the teasers and photos that were released, but if you see the stage performance, I think people will be able to see the difference between our performances.”

Hyomin’s title track “Nice Body” is a work by Brave Brothers, featuring rapperLoco. The new album also features an original song by Hyomin herself, called “Dam(談, 膽),” for the Chinese characters meaning tale and courage.

140630 Hyomin says she wants to be like Lee Hyori + discusses the choreography for ‘Nice Body’

At the press conference for her first mini-album “Nice Body” held on June 30 at the JBK Hall in Samsung-dong, Hyomin chose Lee Hyori as her role model.

She said, “I most want to resemble Lee Hyori. I want my confidence on stage, the concept that changes for every album, and more to resemble hers. I think of her as the senior that many singers these days like.”

Hyomin also talked about the choreography: “It was my opinion to use a prop like a take measure. It was possible to wear it as an accessory and use it as part of the choreography. Various choreographies were created with the tape measure, and I liked it because it expressed the lyrics well.”

T-ara’s Hyomin will be performing her comeback stage of “Nice Body” with Loco.

Hyomin will be coming back as a solo artist for the first time with a mini-album on the 30th of June, in which the title song of her mini-album is titled “Nice Body”.

This track was written by the Brave Brothers, in which Loco featured on it, and thus her first comeback stage of the song will feature Loco as well.

The stage is said to be of an exciting and bright nature, thus fans are excited to see what kind of performance Hyomin and Loco will be able to give.

The date of the comeback stage has not yet been revealed.

Hyoyoung, a member of the girl group F-ve Dolls (5dolls), revealed the lovely selca she took with her younger sister Hwayoung.

On June 28, Hyoyoung uploaded the picture on her Twitter with a message that said, “Healing with Ryu.”

In the picture, the sisters are posing for the camera at a café while drinking coffee. Hyoyoung is seen wearing a black hat with a basic, white shirt and showing off her flawless skin. On the other hand, her sister Hwayoung, had an innocent look with her long, straight hair. In the picture, it seems like the lovely sisters are enjoying each other’s company.

140629 T-ara’s Hyomin has her last practice for “Nice Body”

T-ara’s Hyomin has updated her personal Instagram with photos of her practicing in a studio on the 29th of June.

In the pictures, she seems to be stretching and practicing for her first solo release, “Nice Body”, due to be released on the 30th of June.

Along with the photo, she added “D-1”, meaning that the release of her solo album was only a day away, and so she was practicing and reviewing her performance for the last time before she starts her promotional activities.

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Hyomin will be performing “Nice Body” with Loco, who also featured on the track for her promotional activities, and thus many fans are anticipating her performances.

Hyomin’s “Nice Body” is currently being accused of plagiarizing Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” MV.

On June 27th, an online community forum uploaded two screen caps from both Hyomin’s “Nice Body” 15+ rating teaser video and Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” MV. According to the images, there was a scene in “Blurred Lines” MV in which a girl had a toy car rolled on her back and in Hyomin’s teaser video, she also did an exactly the same scene.

Meanwhile, Core Contents Media is still keeping quiet and has yet to release any official statement about this issue.

T-ara”s Hyomin is giving us a look at her upcoming “Nice Body” MV and the portrayal of a dramatic weight loss transformation with the 15+ rated version of the teaser first!

We saw a sneak preview yesterday with some teaser cuts, but now we get to see how the scenes in the photos fit into the upcoming MV.

She previously revealed that she”d be releasing 15+ and 19+ rated versions of her MV teasers, and this 15+ version has definitely left fans counting down until the release of the more mature themed one to come.

140624 Former T-ara member, Hwayoung, to star in SBS one-act play; “Mother’s Choice”

Former T-ara member, Hwayoung, will be starring in an SBS special one-act play titled “Mother’s Choice” with Oh Hyunkyung and Ji Eunsung.

“Mother’s Choice” will be a drama about the journey of a mother (played by Oh Hyunkyung) who stands up for her son (played by Ji Eunsung), who has committed a crime against a female student (played by Hwayoung).

This will be Hwayoung’s first step as an actress upon leaving T-ara in 2010 and signing with the new agency, Wellmade StarM.

“Mother’s Choice” will start filming on the 7th of July, and air in mid July.

140624 Jiyeon gives Siwan a sweet kiss on ‘Triangle’

T-ara”s Jiyeon resumed her acting career by first appearing in the fifteenth episode of “Triangle” just the other day. She again made an appearance in today”s episode to continue her possibly blossoming romance with ZE:A”s Siwan as his potential partner in a marriage of convenience.

She proved to be forward and adamant about their relationship as in this club scene, she surprises Siwan with a quick kiss and asks him afterward, “Even when I do this, is it not fun for you?” Siwan follows up with a 19+ comment, saying he couldn”t tell with a kiss, but perhaps he could if they slept together in clear hopes of sending her scurrying away.

However, she was just as brash as she said, “Let”s go, then,” to his surprise. He then admits he does like her a bit to which she cleverly says he would continue to find her entertaining and likable, then leaves, knowing the perfect timing to leave him hanging.

T-ara”s Jiyeon will be concluding her solo debut promotions for “1MIN 1SEC” on “The Show” this Sunday.

A Core Contents Media rep revealed through Star News on the 21st, “Jiyeon will conclude her promotions for solo song “1MIN 1SEC” with the recording of SBS MTV“s “The Show: All About K-POP” on the 22nd.” The scheduled air date for this episode is the 24th.

Jiyeon also expressed, “It feels like just yesterday that I was shaking in nervous excitement, but I am already awaiting my final broadcast for “1MIN 1SEC”… I am really thankful for the great interest and support… I will also return to the stage as T-ara… Please show a lot of love for Hyomin unni”s solo song “NICE BODY” which will be released soon.”

Jiyeon will wrap up her promotion for “Never Ever” on upcoming episode of MTV’s “The Show”.

On June 21st, Core Contents Media said that Jiyeon will conclude her promotion for “Never End” on MTV’s ‘The Show: All About K-Pop’ on June 22nd”. This episode will be broadcast later on the 24th.

In particular, in order to show her gratitude for all the fans, Jiyeon will hold her last fan signing event on June 21st at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do.

140621 Jiyeon to end promotions for “Never Ever” this weekend, prior to Hyomin’s debut

With her first debut performance held on Friday, May 23rd during “M! Countdown,” Jiyeon will now finalize her promotions for “Never Ever” on “The Show: All about K-pop” this Sunday, June 22nd.

A few hours earlier, a representative from their agency, Core Contents Media, shared to Star News, “Jiyeon will perform her last broadcast for ‘Never Ever’ on SBS MTV’s ‘The Show: all about K-Pop,’ later tomorrow.” The edited episode will then be shown through television and media on Tuesday, June 24th. This will give relatively two weeks of extra time for Hyomin to prepare following Jiyeon’s success with her first solo.

However, before she leaves, Jiyeon has one last gift prepared for her fans in thanks for their love for her solo debut. Later today on Saturday, June 21st, the youngest member and first soloist of T-ara will hold a fan-sign event at Gyeonggido’s Ilsan Kintex Stadium for just a few hours, in order to give personal thanks to all the fans that could make it.

As Jiyeon paved the way for the rest of the group to promote as solo artists someday in the future, her debut had naturally triggered much conversation amongst the fans and media. She gave a new start to her group, raising the possibilities of talents and concepts that each member could reveal throughout this year.

Jiyeon added via her agency to Star News, “It feels like just yesterday that I was giddy and nervous backstage for my very first solo performance, but already the end is coming,” adding, “I was very grateful for all the support and interest that fans had for my debut.” Moreover, she stated, “T-ara as well will be returning onstage soon, but in the meantime, please support Hyomin unnie’s title track “Nice Body” as well. T-ARA’s Hyomin has officially confirmed a date for her upcoming debut and released the second teaser image for “Nice Body.”

Earlier today on Monday, June 16th, Core Contents Media confirmed Hyomin’s solo single “Nice Body” to premiere on July 2nd, around two weeks away.

Additionally, in the second teaser image, Hyomin is seen donning a white crop top, as well as a navy-and-white-striped short bodysuit, revealing her subtle but smooth curves. Leaning against a white wall with short navy and red tube socks, just one blue fingernail, neck-length silver hair, and light makeup, Hyomin appears both forlorn and quietly bold, making fans eager for what she will present on early July.

A logo also appears by the upper right, showing her name in capital bold letters, while containing a Coca-Cola insignia and a vague ‘X’.

Hyomin’s solo title track “Nice Body” has been produced by Brave Brothers and features rapper Loco from AOMG.

According to the teaser image, she will be collaborating with rap artist LOCO for her title track “Nice Body.” While the previous teasers focused on her alone, this one gives more insight into the musical style of her highly awaited song.

The reason for Jung Hyungdon hazing Jiyeon was because he insisted Jiyeon was a newcomer to the entertainment scene as she had just debuted as a soloist even though she had debuted with T-ara in 2009.

On the June 4 broadcast of MBC Every1′s “Weekly Idol,” T-ara‘s Jiyeon, who recently made her solo debut, was the featured guest.

During the show, Jung Hyung Don, a self-professed “bestie” of G-Dragon, said to Jiyeon, ” I heard you are a fan of G-Dragon.” The two then proceeded to battle each other in a quiz about G-Dragon to see who is a bigger fan of the BIGBANG member.

Jung Hyung Don was able to correctly answer which number G-Dragon likes and what his ideal type is, surprising Jiyeon. Jiyeon was only able to answer through a smart guess which type of “skinship” G-Dragon likes.

In a new photo shoot with “International bnt,” T-ara”s Eunjung looked like a beautiful spring fairy as she dons a crown of leaves and flowers on her head while dressed all in white.

During the interview, she talked about various things, such as her image and ideal types. Eunjung said, “There are many sides to myself, but if I get the chance, I also want to show one of my private sides, a feminine and charming image. However, I don”t want to show or change it with force. Naturally, like water falling, I want the chance to show yet another side to Eunjung.”
