Recently, T-ara’s Soyeon, who made her comeback as part of a subunit group QBSalong with Qri and Boram, is receiving attention due to her changed appearance in the newly released Japanese MV “Like the Wind.”

In the captured images is Soyeon looking beautiful and feminine. However, netizens found that Soyeon looks much more mature than her past childlike and adorable look. They also found her facial features to look slightly different than before.


On June 25, T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media stated to OSEN, “Soyeon did receive a simple cosmetic procedure recently. However, we believe it is the different makeup and the lighting that caused her to look slightly different. It wasn’t a surgery, but a simple procedure.”

Netizens that saw the MV commented, “Is this the same person?” “Where did the adorable Soyeon go?” “She looks completely different,” “Definitely plastic surgery,” and “I think she looks prettier.”

130626 T-ARA Japan Unit Group QBS Releases Debut Single, ‘First Ballad Song’



Girl group T-ARA’s Japan unit group, QBS, released their first Japan single, Like the Wind.

On June 26, they released their debut Japan single and began their activities as a unit group.

Members Qri, Boram and Soyeon have been in Japan since June 8 and have done various promotions such as small concerts in order to prepare for their Japan debut as QBS.

On June 19, they released their “Like the Wind” music video and revealed their innocent image with white dresses.

Their debut song, “Like the Wind” is a song that fits with the summer as it is a medium tempo song that focuses on the vocals.

It is also the first for T-ARA and their unit groups to release a ballad song as well.

On the other hand, T-ARA will also make a comeback in Japan this July with their 7th single, Target, and hold a solo concert at Budokan on July 12.

T-ara′s Japan-exclusive unit QBS held its first official performance.

Multiple media outlets reported on June 11 that QBS, a unit formed by T-ara members Qri, Bo Ram and So Yeon, held a concert.

The event celebrating the release of QBS′ first single Like the Wind was held in Tokyo on June 10 with 2,000 fans.

QBS only promotes exclusively in Japan, and holds the members that are the most popular in the country.

Like the Wind is a song that mixes together the girls′ feminine aura with a summer mood.

So Yeon said this day, “I want to continue to sing as QBS. I want to act, be in variety and star in commercials. You can always call on us.”

Like the Wind will be released on June 26. T-ara′s seventh studio album Target will follow in July 3, along with a Budokan concert on July 12.

Group T-ARA members Qri, Boram and Soyeon will be debuting in Japan as a unit group called QBS and is gaining much local attention in Japan.

T-Ara’s member Hyomin updated her fans through her Twitter.

Today, Hyomin posted on her Twitter, “Today is the last airing of ‘Jeon Won Diary’… As every stage was precious, we’re careful and scared but I have come to know the preciousness and the desperation that I had not known before.”

She continued, “I will be all the more genuine and try harder from now on. I genuinely thank all those who listened to our music and supported us. And Speed members, choreo members, and all our staff members… great job, everyone!”
