Girl Group T-ara‘s second album, “Treasure Box”, stayed in the Top 5 on the Oricon weekly chart yesterday, marking over 18,000 copies sold.

The album, which topped the same music-ranking company’s daily chart immediately after release on Aug. 7, continued its good run by placing fourth.

On the album, the group included 13 songs to appeal to Japanese fans. It is also planning to start a national tour in Japan next month.

Meanwhile, Korean boy group EXO’s album “XOXO (Kiss and Hug)” settled at ninth place, selling over 8,000 copies in the past week until Aug. 19. The album was originally released in June.

Group D-Unit will be releasing a guerrilla remix song for their 1 year debut anniversary.

D-Unit revealed on their Facebook that they would be releasing a guerrilla remix song titled, “Before the Weekend Comes” to celebrate their 1 year anniversary.

This song will be released through an online single and is a remix song. The group hopes that this song will be played at clubs and other events as it is a fun and upbeat song.

This remix will be released on August 28.

The picture was while T-ara was preparing for their concert, putting the background in with photoshop. They also revealed that they can’t wait for the fall to come.

130819 T-ara Hyomin’s first Japanese movie ‘Jinx’ invited to Tokyo International Film festival

T-ara Hyomin’s first Japanese movie ‘Jinx’ has been invited to the upcoming annual Tokyo International Film festival.

Core Contents Media announced on August 18 that Japanese film ‘Jinx’ which is the first movie that Hyomin casted as a main character, received an official invitation from Tokyo International Film Festival which will be held from October 17th until 25th.

‘Jinx’ is about the stories of college students and their various feelings, which will be directed by director Naoto Kumazawa. In the film, Hyomin will be playing a Korean student named Ji Ho, who will act as the cupid to the main leads, Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki.

Hyomin said, “I feel very honored and excited that ‘Jinx’ was invited to Tokyo International Film Festival. I will always keep doing my best.”

The film will open in Japanese theaters this November 16th.

Girl group T-ARA will be holding a solo concert in Hong Kong on August 10.

Today, T-ARA has left for Hong Kong and was greeted by 7-800 fans at the airport. 70 or so mdi a and reporters were also seen at the airport as well.

On August 10, T-ARA will be performing at the Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena along with other world famous stars such as Lady Gaga, Maroon 5 and more.

T-ARA will be performing on stage for 2 hours and 30 minutes in front 8,000 fans and sing their hit songs, “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, “Roly-Poly” and others for a total of 20 songs.

T-ARA will also be holding a press conference and TV program interviews one day before the concert.

On the other hand, T-ARA has released their Japan 2nd album, TREASURE BOX, and has ranked number 1 on charts in Japan.

The album contains 13 songs, including the Japanese version of Korean releases, duet tracks from ‘Bunny Style!’ single and new Japanese originals, “Target” and “Dejavu”.
