T-ara‘s Eunjung and f(x)‘s Amber made their successful debut as MCs on the January 30th broadcast of MBC Music‘s ‘Show Champion‘.

After finishing her first live broadcast, Eunjung shared, “Although I was very nervous due to it being my first time hosting a live broadcast, I felt strong with f(x)’s Amber. Amber and I work well together, and we’ll show a different concept than the original MCs Shindong and Kim Shin Young.”

Eunjung, who started emceeing MBC Music’s Show Champion, said on January 31, “Since it was my first time emceeing the live show, I was very nervous. But I felt better with f(x)’s Amber. I’m not good enough but I’ll try my best to become a better MC.”

T-ara‘s Eunjung expressed her excitement at becoming the MC for ‘Show! Champion‘.

Eunjung and f(x)‘s Amber have been chosen as the new MCs for the show afterShindong and Kim Shin Young. The show was originally pre-recorded and aired on Tuesday, but starting from the 30th, the show will be changing their format to air live every Wednesday.

Eunjung has long been close with MBC because she was on ‘We Got Married‘ and had previously MCed for ‘MBC Gayo Daejaejeon‘. Amber was chosen because she had shown off her characteristic brightness and wit through variety shows as well.

On her appointment as MC, Eunjung said, “This is my first time in a while since our music promotions that I’m going on the show, so I’m looking forward to it and I’m nervous. Since it’s a live program, it’s a little nerve-wrecking, but I’m going to work hard to excel after the first season MCs Shindong and Kim Shin Young.”

Even though Eunjung will be going to Japan at the end of February to promote T-ara’s album in Japan, she will be going back and forth for her MCing duties.

The two girls will be replacing Super Junior‘s Shindong and comedian Kim Shin Young, who recently had to step down from their MC positions due to conflict schedule.

PD Park Chan Wook of ‘Show Champion’ announced, “Eunjung, who is recognized for her variety skills from her experience featuring in various variety shows and hosting special programs, and Amber, who is receiving attention as the new face in variety for her both girlish and boyish charms, will produce a powerful synergy through their meeting.”

Eunjung and Amber also expressed, “1st MCs Shindong and Kim Shin Young are sunbaes, who showed off their perfect teamwork, so it is a little burdensome, but we will also do our best to lead the show in an entertaining way through our teamwork.”

The new co-hosts have been practicing everyday for a special stage in celebration of their first appearance as co-hosts on the show.

T-ara's Soyeon is interested in re-challenging herself in acting.

Soyeon is currently being considered to be cast in the KBS 2TV mini-series "Iris 2". Idols BEAST's Yoon Doojoon as well as MBLAQ's Lee Joon have already been cast.

An "Iris 2" official said it's not definitely decided, but said on the 7th to Sports Korea, "Soyeon is being positively considered to join the cast. Soyeon would play an agent in the drama and we are interested in casting someone with a similar image to her."

Last August, Soyeon challenged herself in acting for the first time through KBS 2TV's mini series "Haeundae Lovers". Soyeon play Lee Kwansoon in the drama, but after a bullying controversy and a traffic accident set her back, her role was virtually removed from the drama. Soyeon would re-begin her acting career in "Iris 2" if she joins.

"Iris 2" is the follow-up to 2010's Iris with Lee Byunghun and Kim Taehee. The drama will begin airing in February.
